The
Syracuse community is unmatched in its respect for education and
love of learning. Eighteen school districts in Onondaga County
begin the educational process for primary- and secondary-level
students, many whom ultimately graduate with a prestigious New
York State Regents diploma. Each district utilizes a pragmatic
approach to basic academic skills, with new programs that include
career education and a college curriculum at the high school level.
Numerous parochial and private day schools throughout the community
add to the mix of available educational opportunities.
